CULTURAL VALUES FROM THE ASSOCIATION MODEL OF FARMER'S CLUBS IN DONG THAP PROVINCE
Abstract
Farmers' clubs are a form of voluntary association of farmers to share and support each other in production and business. This model was to exchange experiences, new techniques in production, update market information, consume agricultural products and share family stories, neighborhood stories, thereby maintaing security and order, joining hands to build new rural areas, orienting new cultural values on the path of economic integeration, digital transformation, application of science and technology 4.0. This paper is the result of a field survey and field trip at some Dong Thap Farmers' clubs from March to October 2019 and after the Covid‑19 pandemic in July 2022. Good effects from this model is considered to be an opporrtunity for provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta to learn, exchange and apply to create better development opportunities in the coming time. At the same time, the model of Farmers' Clubs has promoted the inherent in the cultural value system of Dong Thap and the Mekong Delta region. This is dynamism and creativity in economic development thinking.
