PRESERVING AND PROMOTING THE TRADITIONAL VALUES OF TANG BU DANCE IN THE NORTHWEST PROVINCES
Abstract
Tang Bu dance is an indispensable traditional dance in every Tet, spring, and every festival of ethnic minorities in the Northwest region of Vietnam. The Tang Bu dance movement not only simulates the action of poking holes and removing seeds, but also demonstrates the very skillful and beautiful movements of carrying water and water wheels. The dance also shows the sympathy between people and people, people and nature, the dances are related to the belief of praying for good seasons and the desire for love between couples.
In order for the Tang Bu dance to be preserved, maintained and developed, it is necessary to have the participation and cooperation of all levels of party committees, authorities and departments from central to local levels; schools and cultural and artistic centers nationwide; Experts research, collect, preserve and develop national culture to bring Tang Bu dance closer to professional dance and into the spiritual life of today's youth. In this way, the Tang Bu dance will be preserved and developed, contributing to preserving the distinct and unique cultural identity of the Northwest ethnic groups.
