MODERN FINE ARTS A POINT OF VIEW FROM THE INHERITANCE AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The change of history in each period has made the Vietnamese traditional painting and statue a new look. However, how to make the figure language both nationally and presently? The image of people are doing the work in real life, the social activities of the time that have been maintained in the folk paintings of Dong Ho, Hang Trong, or sculpture of a village common house, etc. All of them reflect a great creation in Vietnamese art history in the feudatory time. Hence, how to exploit the creativity and apply them to match the new demands today suitably? In this research, we will clarify the importance of preserving and inheriting traditional art while promoting those values at a higher level in accordance with the present times.
