SOCIAL WORK FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN FROM THE PRACATICE OF THE NATIONAL HOSPITAL OF PEDIATRICS

Abstract

Patients are disadvantaged children who are both the subject of the health field and the subject of social work. Social work for disadvantaged children is the support activities for patients being treated in hospitals, their family members to solve social, psychological issues and connecting financial resources. Related to diseases and the medical examination and treatment process reduces the burden of anxiety and pain of poor children who are seriously ill. The National Hospital of Pediatrics is one of the hospitals chosen to implement the point model of Social Work in the health field according to the proposal of the Ministry of Health on the development of social work careers in the field of health 2011-2020.
