Abstract

The artistic heritage of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945) is not only the tombs of kings, ramparts, palaces, temples... but also the mausoleums of queens such as Hoang Co, Thoai Thanh, Thuan Thien, Hieu Dong, Tu Du, Le Thien Anh, Tien Cung, Thanh Cung, Tu Cung... with a decorative system with many artistic and cultural values of Vietnam's feudal period. In particular, the mausoleum of queen empress Tu Cung is one of the very special works, It was built with a main material of embossed masonry, this has created a lively art space, dense decoration, rich decorative motifs. This
architecture is one of the architectural spaces that reflect artistic values, profound conceptions and spiritual symbols left over from a onceprosperous dynasty.
