RESEARCH OF CHILDREN IN ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSIC PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This article presents an overview of Ca Tru studies from the perspective of ethnographic music. In Vietnam, the study of Ca Tru has been approached from different lens such as history, folklore, cultural studies, intangible heritage preservation… The ethnographic music perspective provides a vivid insight into the art and cultural life of Ca Tru through the knowledge of music, melody and prosody… In addition, the cultural life and traditional customs of a community are reproduced even more lively from the lens of music.
