PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE IN PROFESSIONAL VOCAL TRAINING AT THE NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ARTS EDUCATION

Abstract

Along with the development and innovation in higher education system nationwide, the National University of Arts Education has gradually innovated, approached and integrated itself into the system, which is clearly demonstrated in its management, teaching, compilation of detailed lecture outlines, preparation of curriculum, and the improvement of standard achievement. In order to meet the increasing demands of society, the quality of the art of musical performance in general, and the art of singing in particular, needs to be properly addressed by the students right from their studies at the university. Hence, it is necessary to recognize the importance of Professional practice in professional vocal training at the National University of Arts Education. Therefore, the training program should include a close coordination between Vocal technique teaching and Performance & Professional Practices in order to create a synergy in training and improving professional capacity in general and performing skills in particular for students, by innovating teaching methods, modernizing contents, and developing close relationships between related subjects.
