INDIGENOUS CULTURE OF CHAM PEOPLE IN NINH THUAN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This article takes into consideration their cultural heritage and values
as resources for tourism development in accordance with the development goals in which the author reviews the values
and heritage of Cham people. The Cham people at times have been exploited for local tourism activities. In addition, this article highlights some limitations, shortcomings of the exploitation, and undeniable progress of Cham cultural resources for the tourism industry. Recognizing these facts, the author can contribute a few solutions to the effective use of local resources to develop Ninh Thuan tourism, bringing benefits but still respecting human cultural identity. Ensuring care is paramount to avoid harming their cultural heritage and values
in accordance with the standards and principles of long-term tourism.
