Preventing and combatting conflicts of interest in public policy making in Vietnam today
Abstract
Conflicts of interest in public policy making present significant challenges to national governance, particularly in developing countries like Vietnam. If these conflicts are not addressed, they can undermine the integrity, transparency, and effectiveness of public organizations. This article examines the nature, manifestations, and consequences of conflicts of interest in public policy making within Vietnam. Additionally, it proposes solutions to prevent and minimize these conflicts, ultimately enhancing the quality of national governance and reducing corruption in the country
