Developing the high-tech park in Da Nang City - current situation and solutions

Abstract

Since its establishment in 2010 Danang High-Tech Park has been expected to be a
driving force for socio-economic development, attracting investment and contributing
to enhancing Vietnam’s competitiveness. However, in the process of operation as well
as meeting all the criteria of a high-tech park as expected, Danang High-tech Park has
been facing many hurdles and challenges in attracting large corporations, high-quality
human resource, synchronized infrastructure, etc. To solve these problems, the article
proposes a number of solutions to optimizing its potentiality, making Da Nang High-Tech
Park a leading high-tech center in the region, contributing positively to the sustainable
economic development of Da Nang City in particular and of the whole country in general.
