International experiences on the key pillars of creating a new era
Abstract
This paper analyzes international experiences in four key pillars: innovation and
digital transformation, green economic development, education quality improvement,
and institutional reform. Countries such as South Korea, Singapore, Finland, and
Denmark have successfully implemented sustainable development models, enhancing
competitiveness and ensuring long-term growth. In the field of innovation, South Korea
has developed Pangyo Techno Valley, while Singapore has implemented the Smart Nation
initiative to drive the digital economy. Regarding the green economy, Japan and Denmark
are in the forefront in circular economy practices and renewable energy adoption.
Education in Finland and Singapore focuses on critical thinking and STEM training to and Sweden have adopted e-government systems and strengthened transparency to
enhance governance efficiency. Based on these lessons, the paper proposes solutions
for Vietnam, including establishing innovation hubs, promoting the circular economy,
reforming education with a practical approach, and improving governance efficiency. It
is useful for Vietnam to adapt international models flexibly in order to achieve sustainable
development and boost competitiveness in the context of global integration.
