Discussion on Ho Chi Minh City culture in the era of national rise

Abstract

In the era of national rise, Ho Chi Minh City is not the exception. The city even has to
strive to become a model worthy of its special geopolitical and cultural position. Among
the myriad tasks that each level of agencies, governments, and organizations in the
city must focus on and foster innovations in, the establishment of a distinctive cultural
institution for Ho Chi Minh City is one of the urgent and strategic long-term issues.
This article presents the existing cultural conflicts and differences in the social life of
the city and proposes solutions to addressing these issues with a view to contributing
to remaking and building Ho Chi Minh City towards a locality with a high level of life
quality, civilization, modernity, and compassion.
