State management on ethnic minorities in Hue City today - current situation and solutions
Abstract
Hue City, located in the central coastal region, is famous for its unique cultural
identity, home to myriad ethnic minorities such as the Co Tu, Bru-Van Kieu, Ta Oi, etc.
The state management on ethnic minorities in Hue City is closely linked to the Party’s
and the State’s ethnic policies. This study contributes to clarifying the current situation,
assessing the advantages and limitations in the state management on ethnic minorities in
Hue City, thereby proposing scientific solutions to improving the effectiveness of ethnic
management in the coming time, as part of enhancement of the national solidarity and
promotion of the socio-economic development. The study has helped form a theoretical
system and scientific basis for Hue city government in implementing policies and laws
related to the state management on ethnic minorities in Hue city with a view to boosting
the city’s socio-economic development.
