Education and cultivation of revolutionary ideals for young generations under UNESCO’s Global Citizenship Education model

Abstract

The young generation is an important integral part of the country, so there needs to be a focus on investment and development in educating them on revolutionary ideals so that they will become an important resource for the development of a country as well as meet growing requirements to become global citizens. This has also been confirmed by the United Nations through the fourth sustainable development goal SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), which is the aspect of Education. The article introduces the concept of global citizenship, the role and characteristics of global citizenship in the 21st century, and at the same time, the article presents the model of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and its role in educating the young generation on revolutionary ideals based on a comprehensive research process, thereby orienting its application in Vietnam in the future.
