Abstract

To contribute to improving the quality of physical education at the preschool level, the authors developed a sports training program for children aged 5–6 with the objectives of enhancing physical fitness, practicing fundamental motor skills, and establishing daily exercise habits. The program was flexibly designed with contents including warm-up, basic motor activities (running, jumping, throwing, climbing, balancing), movement games, and cool-down. Each session lasted approximately 30–35 minutes, conducted once per week, ensuring safety, age appropriateness, and maintaining children’s interest. Practical implementation indicated that the program not only helped children become healthier and more agile but also fostered confidence, cooperation, and communication skills within groups. This represents a practical suggestion for preschools to apply extensively in child care and education.
