Design teaching plans for grade 10 biology in English

Abstract

Designing teaching plans for Grade 10 Biology according to the general education program 2018 in English not only helps students improve their English but also helps them access to international education, exploit information and acquire knowledge in the era of globalization. The article points out the need to design teaching plans for Biology in English as a positive direction, orienting human needs with both professional competence and access to the use of English in the classroom in other subjects. However, the application of teaching at which level depends on the qualifications of teachers and students; The article also points out difficulties and challenges in teaching the subject of Biology in English; thereby proposing the process of designing teaching plans in English to suit the target leaners. In the article, there is an illustrated lesson plan for lesson 8 - Prokaryotic cells, Biology 10 at high school and the organization of pedagogical experiments to test the effectiveness of teaching Biology in English, survey the students’ interest level and assess the cognitive outcome through the test.
