Abstract

Vietnam's history from the beginning of the country's founding has proven that villages always play important roles in all areas of social life. The villages are not only the residence for rural people and agricultural production, but also undertake functions that the city can not meet, including the issue of preserving and developing traditional cultural values, preserving and exploring tangible and intangible cultural values, humanistic values and human resources. In fact, village culture still deeply dominates the lives of rural communities in our country. However, due to the impacts of the renovation process, village culture is undergoing a change which is from being closed and promoting internal issues to being externally oriented. That connects with many new achievements, but there are a lot of problems need to be resolved as well. The village culture change from a practical perspective in Ninh Van commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province will give us an overview of that change.
