Promoting community service activities of regular students through sustainable community projects
Abstract
Craft villages, considered as cultural tourism resource, are being exploited by localities to enrich both the diversity and depth of local tourism products. However, in the context of international integration, preserving and promoting the values of craft villages have also faced difficulties. The article below, which is based on an analysis of the reality in production, business and operations associated with tourism development of some among current Ninh Binh’s craft villages such as Van Lam embroidery village, Ninh Van stone village, Kim Son art sedge village…, has proposed a number of solutions to address the issues towards the goal of maintaining and enhancing the value of craft villages, especially the traditional ones, thereby promoting Ninh Binh tourism quickly as well as sustainably.
