Survey of errors in using modal particles in Chinese by 2nd-year students of Chinese language faculty of Thu Dau Mot University
Abstract
This research paper aims to help readers better understand the modal particles in Chinese and Vietnamese. In this research paper, the author surveys the errors of second-year students majoring in Chinese Language when using modal particles in Chinese, from which the author gives some reasons why students make mistakes and proposes some recommendations to improve the quality of teaching and learning modal particles in Chinese. The author uses the following methods: descriptive method, comparative method, statistical method. The research results show that in both languages, modal particles play an important role in creating the meaning and structure of sentences. Although there are similarities, there are also clear differences, especially in the complexity of modal particles in Vietnamese. This reflects the richness and flexibility of Vietnamese in expressing emotions.
