Abstract
This research article introduces a unique pair of dragon sieves with embossed dragon images on the surface, arranged in front of the Ngoai gate and on the dragon yard next to the steps of the Bai Duong court at the temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang. The pair of Dragon Sieve was shaped by folk artists on monolithic green rocks in the 17th century, and is currently kept at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Historical-Cultural Relic Area (Truong Yen commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh). These are works of art with high historical and cultural value. The meticulously and elaborately carved lines of the majestic but very soft scrolling dragon, along with animals such as fish, shrimp, mice and flowers, plants, trees... are highly symbolic. The pair of dragon sieves are considered the most beautiful, masterpieces of sculptural art in the 17th century.
