Some aspects of environmental management for aquaculture

Abstract

     Based on principle of sustainable development, aquaculture development should be a planned activity that is designed in a responsible manner so as to minimize environmental impacts. Regarding natural environment, one of the main challenges of aquaculture development is to maintain the environmental quality. This mean that the development of aquaculture should be approached by basing on ecological viewpoint. This paper discusses some aspects of environmental management for aquaculture that include waste from aquaculture, water quality indicators and administrative tools of managements.
