MARINE SPECIES COMPOSITION IN THE COASTAL AREA OF BACLIEU

Abstract

Khu vực ven biển Bạc Liêu có chiều dài 56 km với hai cửa sông gồm Nhà Mát và Gành Hào. Thành phần loài các loài hải sản ở khu vực này đã được khảo sát từ tháng 10 năm 2013 đến tháng 4 năm 2021 bằng loại nghề lưới kéo. Kết quả đã định danh được 325 loài, thuộc 89 họ của 20 bộ. Trong đó, bộ cá vượt (Perciformes) chiếm ưu thế với 100 loài (30,7%), tiếp theo là bộ cá trích (Clupeiformes) với 51 loài (15,3%); bộ mười chân (Decapoda) có 50 loài (15,38%) và những bộ còn lại có từ 01 đến 09 loài (chiếm từ 0,31-2,77%). Phân bố thành phần loài khu vực ven biển tương tự nhau và có sự biến động về số loài theo thời gian. Một số loài cá xuất hiện với tần suất thấp như cá đù (Otolithoides biauritus), cá thu bè (Scomberoides lysan), cá thiều (Netuma thalassina) và cá nhụ ấn độ (Leptomelanosoma indicum). Thành phần loài hải sản bắt gặp ở vùng biển ven bờ Bạc Liêu khá phong phú và đa dạng.

ABSTRACT

The coastal area of Bac Lieu is 56 km long with two estuaries including Nha Mat and Ganh Hao. The marine species composition of this area was surveyed from October 2013 to April 2021 by trawling. The results identified 325 species, belonging to 89 families of 20 orders. Of which, the Perciformes order is dominant with 100 species (30.7%), followed by the Clupeiformes order with 51 species (15.3%); the Decapoda order has 50 species (15.6%) and the remaining orders have from 01 to 09 species (from 0.31-2.77%). The distribution of species composition in the coastal area is similar and there is a fluctuation in the number of species over time. Some fish species appear with low frequency such as croaker (Otolithoides biauritus), mackerel (Scomberoides lysan), scad (Netuma thalassina) and Indian mackerel (Leptomelanosoma indicum). The composition of marine species encountered in the coastal waters of Bac Lieu is quite rich and diverse.
