About the Journal
Vietnam Journal of Forest Science (VJFS), managed and published by the Vietnamese Academy of Forest Sciences, aims to facilitate the sharing and exchange of information within the field of forestry science to support scientific research, education, and management in the forestry sector. The journal was licensed and began operations in 2006, building upon the upgrade of the "Forestry Science and Technology Information Sheet" issued since July 1985. The Forestry Science Journal holds the international standard ISSN code 1859-0373 and is presented in the Vietnamese language with English abstracts. The journal is formatted on A4 paper, and each issue consists of 120-150 pages.
Aims and Scope
Vietnam Journal of Forestry Science (VJFS) publishes research works in the field of forestry through independent review. The principle and objective of the Journal's activities are to introduce, disseminate and publish scientific research results, technology application and transfer results, achievements and scientific and technical advances in the field of science and technology. Forestry science aims to serve scientific research, teaching and management of the Forestry industry.
Vietnam Journal of Forestry Science publishes research works and review articles in the field of forestry science and related fields, including:

- Selecting, breeding and propagating forestry plants
- Forestry biotechnology
- Forest ecology, Forest health, management and protection of forest resources

- Exploitation, product preservation and modified forest product regime forestry mechanics
