Building regression equation between compressive strength, chloride ion permeability and compositions of silica-fume concrete using Taguchi method

Abstract
Vietnam has a long coastline, a humid tropical monsoon climate, so the reinforced concrete structures in the marine environment are being greatly affected by harmful factors (chloride ions,sulfate, carbonatation…) which caused corrosion of reinforcement shortening the service life of the structures. In recent years, there have been many studies on the use of silica fume admixtures to improve concrete durability, especially to improve compressive strength and chloride ion impermeability of concrete. This paper aims to build a regression equation between compressive strength chloride ion permeability and water/binder ratio, silica-fume content of silica-fume concrete using Taguchi method.
