Abstract

The rheological processes of rock mass significantly impact on the stability of construction. In order to determine rheological characteristics of rock
samples field tests as well as laboratory tests can be executed. In the article authors represent a method applied to determine deformation parameters based on compression and bend tests of rock samples. As a result, engineers are able to estimate the long-term stability of construction taking account of rock rheological properties.
