Keywords: circular economy; circular agriculture; Vietnam.

Abstract

The circular economy is an economic approach that aims to reduce both the use of raw materials in the production chain and the waste generated. It is based on the principles of sustainable production, reusing waste to create new products, reducing pollution or the environmental impact of production while recreating natural systems. The article points out the reasons for the need to pay more attention to food and organic waste, whether from households, processing facilities (raw materials) and factories, or directly from the regionagriculture. In Vietnam, there are not many studies on the circular economy model in agriculture, so it is difficult to develop the agricultural economy in a sustainable way. Applying new technology solutions, mainly re-processing to reduce emissions, as well as increase production productivity, contribute to building and developing Vietnam's agricultural industry in a sustainable way in the new period.
