Abstract

The Socio-economic development leads to a rapid increase in the number of vehicles, particularly heavy trucks, causing damage to the pavement structure, especially the asphalt concrete surface. The reclaimed asphalt pavement become the non-biodegradable waste materials. Therefore, using recycled materials as aggregates in concrete manufacturing has been receiving a great deal of Road and Bridge construction industry attention. Many researchers around the world have researched and applied recycled aggregates to make roller compacted concrete for road construction. It is noteworthy that the reclaimed asphalt pavement is fundamentally different from the natural aggregate of roller compacted concrete, an old asphalt binder wrapped around recycled aggregates. Therefore, the article presents an experiment to determine the technical parameters of roller compacted concrete using recycled aggregate, compared with the original roller compacted concrete. Finally, the team evaluate the effect of recycled aggregate on the technical parameters of roller compacted concrete (RCC) with two proportions of recycled aggregate (40% and 80%), replacing natural aggregate in the concrete.
