Research and application of multivariable regression experimental model in manufacturing thermoplastic paint materials with high adhesion
Abstract
In this paper, the author presents the results of a survey on selection of thermoplastics available on the Vietnamese market to make thermoplastic paints with high adhesion. From that result, the next studies will build a multivariable regression experimental model according to the method of Mc Lean -Anderson to select the content of chemical components in thermoplastic paint. Research results have selected the formulation of thermoplastic paint including: CaCO3 powder 38%, thermoplastic 32%, glass ball 20%, pigment 10%. Using the method of determining the pull-off adhesion according to ISO 4624:2002, the results show that the thermoplastic paint made from the model has high adhesion, exceeding the requirements of the standard TCVN 8791:2018 equivalent to the standard ASSHTO M 249:2012 standard.
