Abstract

The article presents the need on the selection of the reasonably anchor elevation and thickness of the slag stone or the rock layer to replace the soft soil in front of the wall in order to create one-anchor piling wall wharf works with high economic andtechnical efficiency. Calculations for single mooring piling piers are based on Blium's "equivalent beams" method and are made into a TC-TD-DTD calculation program. The studies have resulted in the following basic results:

- Considering all factors of bearing, economy and construction conditions, the reasonable anchorage depth should only be selected in the range hn = (0.20 -0.32)Ht, where Ht is the height of the work.

- Only slag stone should be filled at behind the pile wall, but replacing the soft soil in front of the wall with slag stone has little effect with the minimum thickness is hd> 3.1 m, so soft soil should be replaced in front of the wall rock with thickness hd = (2.0 -3.0) m.

The research results can be applied in practice when designing new construction, as well as renovating and upgrading harbor works in the form of one-anchor pile-walls.
