Current status and solutions for enhancing the effectiveness of healthcare human resource training at the University of Medicineand Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University

Abstract

The training of healthcare human resources represents a critical mission of both the education and health sectors, playing a pivotal role in ensuring a qualified workforce for the protection and improvement of public health. In the context of higher education reform and increasing international integration, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University serves as a key institution for the education and training of healthcare professionals in Vietnam’s northern midland and mountainous regions. This study examines the current status of healthcare human resource training at the University in recent years, highlighting major achievements as well as existing limitations and challenges in the implementation process. Based on these findings, the study proposes several key solutions aimed at enhancing training effectiveness, thereby strengthening the institutional capacity and academic standing of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Thai Nguyen University, and meeting the requirements for the sustainable development of the healthcare sector in the contemporary period.
