Abstract
In the context of global digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the demand for human resources equipped with digital competencies, innovative thinking and lifelong learning capacity has become a decisive factor for the sustainable development of the knowledge-based economy. From this perspective, the article analyzes the current situation of human resource training at Vietnamese universities, highlighting limitations in curricula, lecturer competencies, infrastructure and linkages with enterprises. On that basis, it proposes a comprehensive set of solutions to reform training models, develop digital competencies and strengthen university–business–state cooperation in order to train human resources that meet the requirements of the digital era.
