Entrepreneurial intention of Vietnamese students: The mediating role of entrepreneurship education and business opportunity recognition
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of factors on the entrepreneurial intention of Vietnamese students, exploring the mediating role of entrepreneurship education and business opportunity recognition. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. Survey data were collected from 461 students across universities in Vietnam. The results indicated that entrepreneurial self-efficacy, motivation, and family support positively influence entrepreneurship education. Moreover, entrepreneurship education and recognition of business opportunities positively enhance young individuals' entrepreneurial intentions. The findings offer valuable policy implications for educators and policymakers aiming to inspire students to pursue successful entrepreneurial careers.
