Use of recycled aggregates from construction waste in roller compacted cement concretein Vietnam
Abstract
As the world's population increases, along with increasingly strong construction activities in countries, a lot of non-degradable construction waste is generated, causing environmental pollution and occupying a lot of landfill space. On the other hand, the construction of new works has used millions of tons of materials each year, especially natural aggregates. Therefore, the source of natural materials is gradually becoming exhausted, while the source of construction waste is constantly increasing. Therefore, many technologies for recycling construction waste into aggregates for concrete production have been applied in many countries around the world. The article presents a new research direction using recycled aggregates from construction waste to produce roller-compacted cement concrete in road construction in Vietnam. The content of the article only stops at theoretical analysis of an orientational nature, requiring further practical testing.
