In practice, the research and teaching of law on human rights at higher education institutions still reveal numerous limitations arising from various causes, which require objective and comprehensive assessment. On that basis, this paper employs research methods such as empirical study, analysis, and synthesis to clarify the theoreticalfoundations, evaluate the current situation, and propose several solutions to enhance the effectiveness of orienting research and teaching of human rights law at higher education institutions in Vietnam, drawing on practical experience from Vinh University.
