Abstract
Abtracst: based on theoretical and practical
foundations, developed a questionnaire to
interview and assess the common errors and their
underlying causes in gifted children aged 10-12
at the Vinh Yen City Swimming Club, Vinh Phuc
Province. The results revealed that over 50% of
the students made errors in the freestyle swimming
technique, leading to suboptimal performance and
achievements. The research identified 11 common
errors in the freestyle swimming technique and
their contributing factors, providing a basis
for instructors to select appropriate exercises
to correct these errors in the target population.
