Abstract

For university training, students’ self
–study activities are considered inevitable and
regular work; Moreover, it is also a mandatoyr
requirement and is expressed by a certain proportion
of time in the detailed course syllabus structure
when applying credut – based training. However,
currently, self -study activities of students at Ho
Chi Minh City University of Physical Education
and Sports have not received proper attention and
the results achieved are very modest. This research
mainly focuses on factors affecting students’ self
–study ability, reasons for students to self –study,
and students’ difficulties when self – studying.
