Abstract

 Determining the requirements and level of professional competence of physical education
teachers according to the 2018 General Education Program with the aim of building a competency
framework and innovating the training program for students majoring in physical education is an issue
that needs to be researched. To achieve that goal, the study investigated the requirements of society and
the ability to meet them for high school physical education teachers according to the current 2018 General
Education Program.
