Abstract

The research process has appreciated the
current reality of Pencak Silat in high performance
sports in Vietnam through the following aspects:
financial resources investment; resources of
Pencak Silat coaches, athletes on high
performance sports; training system in Pencak
Silat competitions. The results show that there is
an investment from the nation, in addition to the
strict management of Pencak Silat, which has
stable and remarkable achievements; however,
there is a shortage of athletes and coaches at all
levels, the adjacent forces and training are limited..
