Abstract
Through the use of the interview method and
the statistical method and through 7 assessment
criteria to evaluate extracurricular physical and
sporting activities of students from Banking
Academy (BA), this research figured out that the
achieved figures are relatively low and are not
commensurate with the potential of the Academy.
This reality comes from some fundamental causes
such as: a lack of facilities and instructors for
extra-curricular training; the training content is
inappropriate; Training forms do not meet the
needs of students; mis-conception about the role
of extracurricular physical education and sport;
inactivity of students. From which, some possible
solutions are proposed.
