Abstract

Using modern technological devices
(Vienna System Test) along with mathematical,
statistical methods, this study has identified
criteria for assessing the visual abilities of
shooting athletes: visual field (degrees); left visual
angle (degrees); right visual angle (degrees);
peripheral deviation (%); target perception (%).
Based on these criteria, the study determines the
current state of visual abilities for the shooting
athletes of the Vietnamese national team during
the specialized training phase in preparation for
competition.
