Abstract
Assessing the physical condition of
students at the University of Forestry is one of the
important criteria to evaluate the effectiveness
of the school’s Physical Education program.
Periodically testing and evaluating students’
physical development is a requirement of training
program accreditation. Based on the “Regulations
on the assessment and classification of students’
physical strength” to determine the characteristics
and evaluate the physical status of students at
Forestry University based on criteria and tests.
Test results show that the physical fitness of school
students is equivalent to that of Vietnamese people
of the same age and gender, however, the physical
fitness of non-specialized students has not met
the physical fitness assessment standards. of the
Ministry of Education and Training also accounts
for a high rate from 60% to 82%.
