Abstract
Implementing the policy of the ASEAN
Ministerial Council on building common physical
standards for people in ASEAN countries, in 2020,
the Institute of Sports Science was assigned to
preside over and survey the physical fitness of
Vietnamese people aged 7-74 in 3 provinces and
cities: Son La, Da Nang, Can Tho with over 10,000
samples. The results of the body morphology
survey of female students aged 7-11 in Son La
province showed that the body morphology of
female students aged 7-11 in Son La province was
uneven; height development tended to increase
with age, but weight development was not good
between ages; most BMI indexes were at the level
of underweight level I to underweight level III.
