Abstract
Asbtract: The aim of study was to
investigate the changes of sports and exercise
behavior according to the differences in the
frequency and types of physical activities in the
pre, during, and post period of social isolation
due to outbreak COVID-19 pandemic in Chi
Linh city, Hai Duong province. The study was
conducted 90 participants (n=90) through online
questionnaire and telephone online. The results
showed that: during the social isolation, the
stay at home order, participants engaged less
in sports than before and after the restrictions
while women are do exercise less than men with
the rate of 36.67% and 63.33%, respectively;
especially men focus on the types of heavy
exercies with the strong burning energy, in
contrast, the gentle sports are interested by
women such as yoga, walking,etc... However,
within-group analyses represented increasing
sport participation in less active groups when
comparing the pre- and post-COVID-19 period.
