Abstract

Survey on antibiotic resistance of common bacteria at the HCMC Hospital For Rehabilitation - Professional Diseases. Using antibiogram results of 863 patient samples that meet research standards from March 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023. The results have isolated the majority of Gram-negative bacteria (87.8%), of which Klebsiella spp. accounted for the highest proportion (34.8%). Among the 13 clinical departments surveyed, the Department of Cranial Neurology had the highest number of isolated bacteria (n=188). The antibiotic resistance of common bacteria was surveyed: Staphylococcus aureus was 99% resistant to Fosfomycin, Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 79.9% resistant to Tobramycin, Acinetobacter baumannii was 94.3% resistant to Ticarcillin-Clavalanate, Enterobacter spp. 92% resistant to Ciprofloxacin, Klebsiella spp. 87% resistant to Ticarcillin-Clavalanate, Escherichia coli 88.6% resistant to Ticarcillin-Clavalanate, Proteus mirabilis 87% resistant to Colistin. Most common bacteria found in hospitals are Gram-negative bacteria. The bacteria surveyed were still sensitive to many antibiotics
