Abstract
Transculturality theory was born in the 40s of the twentieth century, associated with the name Fernando Ortiz (1881 - 1969). This is a theory that studies the relationship between cultures in the process of cultural reception and acculturation, expressed through complex cultural transitions leading to inevitable changes in paradigms. The article analyzes the transculturality perspectives of authors Fernando Ortiz, Mikhail Epstein and Wolfgang Welsch, drawing out the scientific and practical significance of this theory, relating it to contemporary Vietnamese culture. Through transculturality theory, we hope to introduce an additional perspective in approaching and researching culture in the age of globalization
