THE CONCEPT OF “THE PEOPLE” IN THE PRIMITIVE LÊ DYNASTY AND IT'S MEANING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS OF THE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE TODAY

Abstract

The concept of "people" in the Le So period was expressed through the conception of typical thinkers such as: Nguyen Trai – the first world cultural celebrity of Vietnam; the great historian Ngo Sy Lien, who was instrumental in compiling the Dai Viet Chronicle Encyclopedia; Le Thanh Tong, the famous founder and reformer of the fifteenth century. The study of the "people" of the Le So period has important implications for promoting the mastery of the Vietnamese people today
