Abstract

Determining the appropriate growing method in using monochromatic light sources in farming in townhouse conditions, there is not much research on this. Determining the type of sprouts that are best affected by purple LED light with a wavelength of 380-440 nm in the technical process of producing sprouts on a laboratory scale to achieve the best yield and yield under these conditions. Indoor cultivation is necessary. The experiment was arranged in 4 treatments in a randomized completely block design (RCBD) with 3 replications and 4 quotas for each crop, done in 3 consecutive crops, including the following treatments: sweet cabbage (T1_ Brassica integrifolia), mustard greens (T2_ Brassica juncea), daikon radish (T3_ Raphanus sativus) and bok choy (T4_Brassica rapa chinensis). Experimental results on growth indicators of yield components and commercial yield of sprouts show that purple LED light has the best effect on the growth, development and yield of daikon radish (T3) and was statistically different from the remaining treatments. Purple light (380-440 nm) has the potential to positively affect the growth and commercial yield of daikon radish
