THE SIX TEACHINGS OF UNCLE HO TO THE PEOPLE'S PUBLIC SECURITY FORCE ARE THE GUIDING PRINCIPLES, IDEOLOGICAL WEAPONS, AND DRIVING FORCE BEHIND ALL THE VICTORIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE'S PUBLIC SECURITY FORCE

Abstract

In March 1948, in a letter to Comrade Hoang Mai, Director of Public Security Zone 12, President Ho Chi Minh set forth six qualities for a revolutionary public security officer. These were not only teachings, but also the President's views and ideology on the moral standards, codes of conduct, behavioral attitudes, and goals for the struggle of revolutionary public security officers. This article focuses on highlighting the outstanding achievements and the process by which the people's public security force has successfully implemented Uncle Ho's teachings over more than 75 years. From this, lessons and experiences are drawn about studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's instructions in the new period
