Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI), particularly generative AI, is becoming a core infrastructure for innovation, economic growth, and social governance. However, alongside its immense potential comes a decline in societal trust in digital technology, stemming from concerns about privacy violations, algorithmic biases, lack of transparency, and unclear accountability. This article analyzes the concept of digital trust in the context of AI, explains why digital trust is important, and proposes solutions for building digital trust in the age of artificial intelligence
