Abstract

This article analyzes the current situation and development orientation of sustainable agriculture and rural areas in Phu My Tay commune, Gia Lai province. Thanks to its favorable transportation location and effective management, the commune has achieved many accomplishments, completing the advanced new rural development goals in 2024, and initially building value chains and high-tech livestock farming models. However, the locality still faces many obstacles due to small-scale production and fragmented land ownership, limiting the application of mechanization. Rural industries are developing slowly, cooperative models are not yet truly effective, and consumption remains heavily dependent on the market. The article proposes key solutions to overcome these limitations.
